Our History

Since 1928, Sri Agasthiya Nadi Astrology Center in Vaitheeswarankoil has preserved and continued the ancient Tamil tradition of Nadi Astrology. Established through a hereditary family lineage, our center has carried forward the sacred knowledge of palm leaf reading across five generations, protecting the traditional practices passed down by our ancestors.

Throughout our history, each generation has followed the traditional Nadi leaf identification process with dedication and respect. The seeker’s thumb impression is used to classify and search the appropriate palm leaf manuscript bundles, while confirmation questions help identify the matching leaf. Once confirmed, the reading may offer guidance about the seeker’s past, present and future, including marriage, family, career, business, education, health, wealth, children, karmic influences and spiritual development.
